"It's a String Thing" #219

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week's IAST will span a period of two weeks instead of our usual one.
Your tiles will have to be sent in by Saturday, November 18 and the results will be posted on Monday, November 20.

With the holidays approaching, I think it will be good to have a bit longer length of time to finish our tiles.

When designing this string and challenge, angles (mostly right), kept popping up and so I acquiesced 😊.

We begin with this string ~
IAST #219 String by Adele Bruno, CZT

The tangles we will use include:
Vortex by Sandra Strait
This tangle is both angular and curved and its fine lines will bring to mind O from last week.

Tortuca by Maria Thomas
Again, angles and curves meet with this classic tangle.

Facets by Nancy Pinke, CZT
Simply angular, this pattern will add dimension and it is great fun to draw.

Use as few or as many of the tangles as you wish.

Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away!

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
* Challenges are posted on Tuesdays.
*Use the string posted for the week and some or all of the suggested patterns
